What’s This?

Have you tried to identify a plant, flower, or weed, and despite your best efforts, remain stumped? If so, send a photo to the website coordinator who will load it on this page to ask if any wise member can solve the puzzle!

Help Us Solve a Mystery!

Sherri discovered this Deerpath Garden Club plaque at Forest Park Beach on a slab of concrete near the south pavilion, tucked away and facing the building. However, no visible garden or plantings were nearby. Long-term members, do you know its history? The plaque looks like it could use a face-lift along with the small area of grassy weeds nearby. The plaque is dated May 1989, almost 30 years ago. Maybe the Forest Park Beach restoration group or the city department of parks have old records that would tell us its origin.

Ladies, put on your Nancy Drew thinking caps, drive your roadster to the beach, and help us solve this mystery! (Uh oh…this literary reference dates me for sure!)

Flummoxed–can anyone identify? If you can identify this plant, post your answer on the Bulletin Board so all can see: http://deerpathgardenclub.org/members/bboard/
